Goodell Says Donte' Stallworth Will Be Reinstated After Super Bowl

At his press conference in Miami, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed that Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth will be reinstated into the league following the Super Bowl.

From there, the Browns will have to decide if they want to keep him or simply cut all ties and avoid what could be a mini media circus. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns will cut Stallworth, but with the team needing all the help it can get, they might hold off on a decision.

Stallworth hasn't exactly produced like a former first round pick, but he hasn't been a slouch in this league, either. He's a guy who can stretch the field with his speed and give safeties a real headache if he gets into their zone.

He's clearly not a No. 1 receiver, but with some talent in front of him he can certainly be a difference maker for a team like the Browns.

If he is cut, expect teams like the Baltimore Ravens, St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, or Washington Redskins to pursue him in free agency.
