Chad Ochocinco Ensures Bengals Won't Blackout

I've said it before, and I'll continue to repeat it.

Chad Ochocinco is great for this league, and he has proven why with his most recent act.

With the AFC North leading Cincinnati Bengals (I'll let that sink in a little) on the verge of a local television blackout due to lack of ticket sales, Ochocinco sprung into action to save the day.

Chad has teamed up with Motorola to buy the remaining tickets for this weeks game against the Houston Texans to avoid a blackout.

For someone who is "too in love with himself", he sure cares a lot about the fans of this team to go out of his way to make sure they get to watch the game. That doesn't sound so selfish to me.

Chad and Motorola bought over 600 tickets to ensure the 47th straight sell-out for Paul Brown Stadium. Motorola will be giving tickets away on Saturday.

Chad has often caught negative media attention due to his antics on the field and in the locker room. Whether it be telling that weeks opposing defensive backs to "kiss da baby" or river-dancing in the endzone, Chad was always apparently in the wrong.

The man just likes to have some fun.

Sure, football is a great game, but going to practice can easily become a bore. So, he uses his locker room media time to have a little fun. So what?

So, he likes to celebrate after he scores a touchdown. So what?

He genuinely likes to have fun while playing the best sport in the world, yet he catches just as much negative attention as guys who are always in off-field incidents.

Until I see the report of Chad in an off-field incident, he's good in my books. I love the guy and his "antics." They bring excitement to the Bengals, and he never falters in his production.

He can keep talking, as long as he keeps scoring touchdowns.

The media is always out to find the "bad guy."

Well, if you think that's Chad... child please.
