Leodis McKelvin Fumbles the Game Away

There's not much to say other than McKelvin simply gave that game away. All he has to do is take the knee, then all he has to do (after deciding not to take the knee) is hold on to the ball. Instead, he puts the ball on the turf so Tom Brady can hit Ben Watson for the second time in five minutes and steal the game 25-24.

You've got to feel bad for Buffalo (other than McKelvin) because they played well enough to win that game. The offense was phenomenal. They moved the ball at will, and Trent Edwards looks like he could be the real deal. Then you have the defense. While they did allow the Pats to score that first touchdown, the second touchdown is all on McKelvin.

The Pats were given a short field, and the Bills were backed up. That's like starting a boxing match against the turnbuckle, and facing off against Mike Tyson. Even if you're not a boxing guy, you know facing Mike Tyson in anything is a bad situation.

It's a heart-breaking, gut-wrenching loss. However, it gives the Bills an opportunity to show their true colors. The character of men, they say, is shown when they have to face adversity. Well, this is adversity at its finest, and we'll get to see what kind of men make up that team in New York's northwest.
