Bears Better Bring "A" Game Tonight

The Bears' inconsistencies are well documented. It starts with the lines on both sides of the ball and it filters out to the so called skilled positions.

In order for the Bears to right the ship tonight they need a max effort from both lines. Tommy Harris needs to commit to playing the type of football that once had him as the most feared defensive tackle in football.

On offense the best thing the Bears can do for a struggling Jay Cutler is to give him a consistent running game. The key to consistent offensive football is balance. Balance starts with being tough enough to put a hat on a hat and run regardless of how many defenders are in the box.

I find it hard to believe I am questioning the toughness of a Lovie Smith coached team but that is what I see.

A lack of toughness from the "Monsters of the Midway" San Francisco is struggling as well so this game tonight will either be really good as both teams look to rebound or really bad as both teams continue to slide.
