Vince Young to Start for Titans vs. Jaguars

It is being reported by The Tennessean that Vince Young will be the starter on Sunday for the Titans.

This will be his first start since the opener of the 2008 season when he injured his knee and had subsequent off the field problems that led to his benching.

While Young hasn't started since that game in 08, he has been a constant subject of media talk and banter.

Vince Young will hope to prove all of his critics wrong on Sunday and show the NFL that he can and will be a good player.

While most people will want to bash Vince Young and call him a bust. I want to say that I think the time on the bench behind a seasoned veteran will do him some good.

Everybody forgets how he set the world ablaze in his rookie season. But at the start of his second season, the NFL showed him it isn't all fun and games.

This will be Young's coming out party, he has had time to learn and get used to the speed of the game.

Looking forward, Vince can now go out on the field with confidence and look to take his place as the starter of the Titans. But the only way we will know if he is truly a bust or if he will be a good player is to just let him play.
