Cleveland Browns Officially Cut Ties With Donte' Stallworth

As expected, the Browns have officially cut ties with the newly-reinstated Donte' Stallworth.

Stallworth becomes an unrestricted free agent, and in a year in which impact free agents are few and far between, he could not only find himself employed, but vastly overpaid.

Teams like the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, St. Louis Rams, and Washington Redskins should be in the market for a wide receiver. The draft, while overall a very deep one, isn't very deep at receiver outside of the first round.

Stallworth hasn't lived up to the billing of his first round pick, but he's a more-than-capable second or third receiver who can stretch the field. Any team looking for receiver help would be smart to give him a one-year deal and see how it goes.
