Jed York Extends an Invite to Crabtree and Agent

In an effort to end this pathetic display by Michael Crabtree and his agent, 49ers owner Jed York has offered the Prima Donna and his puppet master a meeting with himself and the other executives of the team, including head coach Mike Singletary. To this point, York has not received a response from Crabtree.

The big news this week was the fact that Crabtree had left the San Francisco bay area, which would seem to point to him not even considering signing with the Niners this year. However, it's been found out now that Crabtree simply left so he could visit his parents. Maybe while he's there his mom will beat him with a rolling pin and knock some sense into him.

It's unfathamable that any good parents could watch their son act the way he's acting and not be completely disgusted. I know if I acted like that my dad would beat my ass so bad I'd need a tailpad just to sit in the chair to sign the deal. Hopefully they can say something to this kid that will penetrate that thick skull of his.

It's even worse when you consider that Crabtree has the best contract (offer) of any rookie this year when you look at who was selected in that slot the year prior. To put in plainly, Crabtree is getting over a 20 percent increase from what Jerod Mayo got in that No. 10 slot last year.

I still expect Crabtree to sign soon because he doesn't want to lose money, and he really does want to play. The first move will be to fire that crackpot agent of his and realize, as all athletes must, that the agent works for them and not the other way around.

Expect to see Crabtree in the bay area within the next few days to sit down with York, and then to sign shortly thereafter.
